Sports Aid Grants

2012/13 Sports Aid Grants - Round 2 Applications have now closed

The Sports Aid Grants are in their fifteenth year, having been established as a unique way for us to assist local residents to achieve excellence in their sporting endeavours. The overall objective of the scheme is to assist local amateur sports people who have achieved at a high level in their sport, or who have the potential to achieve at a high level.

Since its inception, the Sports Aid Grants Scheme has awarded more than $105,000 which has assisted many young athletes to reach Commonwealth and world standards. More importantly, it has assisted many young people to fulfil their sporting dreams.

Twenty young sports stars from across Hume have shared in almost $9000 through the latest round of funding in Hume City Council’s Sports Aid Grants Program.

Helping you get involved!

We recognise the personal and financial sacrifices involved in participating in sport at an elite level. In recognition of this, we allocate funds annually to assist local individual junior athletes in the pursuit of their dreams on the sporting field.
