Home Based Business is a growing business sector allowing people to operate a business from the comfort of their own homes.

According to the Australia Bureau of Statistics nearly 62% of small business operators are home based.

Among those running small businesses from home are interior designers, builders and carpenters - who often run their business from home, but step off it to perform their work.

Others, like freelance writers, artists, or online retailers, do the majority of work at home.

In either case, they share one common denominator: their headquarters are based at home.
