April Update
Project Aims
The early works for this project include:
- Allowing better East - West connections to the park by re-grading the mounds and artificial watercourse.
- Providing better access to the park with the construction of a new car park (Cnr. Pearcedale Parade and Tanderrum Way).
- Enhancing the aesthetic appeal of the park by establishing garden bed planting and avenues of trees to the park edge and the median along Pearcedale Parade.
- Improving park sustainability by incorporating rain gardens into the Pearcedale Parade streetscape.
- Creating better pedestrian and cycle movement and connections between key locations with shared pathways, relocating the northern pedestrian crossing and new park signage.
- Improving the park amenities with the installation of a new toilet.
