Sunbury a Variety of Unique Experiences

The Sunbury Visitor Information Centre is located in the beautifully restored Old Sunbury Courthouse (c. 1885), surrounded by public open space that includes a mural of Macedon Street in the 19th century, beautiful gardens, a free gas BBQ, public toilets (24 hour access) and the historical Aitken's Gap Gaol.

The Centre offers quality information to local residents and visitors to Sunbury, Hume City and Victoria. The Centre stocks a wide variety of brochures and maps and is a fully accredited Visitor Information Centre, in accordance with Tourism Victoria's Better Business Tourism Accreditation's standards and requirements.

The Sunbury Visitor Information Centre offers:

  • events information
  • accommodation information
  • conference, wedding and reception venue information
  • historical literature and photos to browse through
  • local and Australiana postcards, souvenirs and gifts
  • local brochures

Volunteering Opportunities

The Sunbury Visitor Information Centre is staffed by a dedicated team of 30 volunteers who provide a warm and friendly welcome to visitors. For anyone interested in joining, please email us tourism@hume.vic.gov.au

Discover Your City Walking, Cycling, Places of Interest

For information on walking and cycling tracks, please phone or visit the Sunbury Visitor Information Centre. Or download the 'Discover Your City Walking, Cycling, Places of Interest' maps below. The maps are also available from Hume's Customer Service Centres and Leisure Centres. The two maps cover Hume City; one for Sunbury/Bulla and one for Broadmeadows/Craigieburn. They show places of interest including visitor attractions, playspaces, toilet and recreation facilities, cycling lanes and pathways.
