IT Learning Programs

We offer free computer training programs at our learning centres and libraries. These programs are designed to equip you with the basic skills to get you started using computers, computer applications and the internet.

Net.Help

Learn the basics of email and the internet in free introductory sessions for adults. Sessions can be arranged for individuals or small groups.

Sessions are conducted throughout Hume City, including Broadmeadows, Roxburgh Park, Craigieburn and Sunbury.

Computer Club

Computer Clubs are conducted at various locations throughout Hume City and can be arranged for all age groups.

Based on your needs, you can choose from the training options below:

• Individual seeking to join a group
• Individual training (one-on-one)
• Small group training (organisations)
• Customised training to fit your needs

We can boost your skills and confidence whether you're a beginner or an advanced user.

Specific sessions on a range of different IT topics will also be offered throughout the year.  Examples of these include:

• Video manipulation

• Taking digital pictures
• Manipulating digital pictures
• Different ways of presenting / displaying digital pictures
• Peer-to-peer sharing
• Using iTunes
• Net safety for parents
• Using Skype
• How to buy a computer
• How to select an Internet Service Provider (ISP)
