| Australia Day is a time to reflect upon our achievements as a nation and as a community. We have much to be proud of, and it is important to give thanks and recognition to the many people who help us achieve this.
As part of the Australia Day activities for 2010, Council proposes to award:

| If you would like to recognise the contributions and achievements of a local resident or community group, please download the Selection Criteria and Nomination Form below. The aim of the Awards is to recognise outstanding contributions to the local community during the year and the attached guidelines are designed to assist in the nomination of candidates.
Presentation of the Awards will take place at a function on Australia Day, Tuesday 26 January 2010. Nominations for these Awards should be submitted no later than Friday 4 December 2009.
