Hume Volunteer Gateway is a free community service that connects people who want to volunteer with organisations who need volunteers.
Hume is home to an energetic, culturally diverse community of over 155,000 people. Hume Volunteer Gateway harnesses their time, interests and skills to strengthen the community and benefit the volunteers themselves.
Hume Volunteer Gateway is a joint initiative of organisations in Hume, and responds to the need for a centralised volunteer network. Hume Volunteer Gateway promotes and encourages participation in local volunteering as part of the lifelong learning process, and provides guidance to Hume residents who want to use their time and skills to help the community.
