Youth - Get Involved
Young People's Voices
Hume City Council, through its Young People's Voices Project, wishes to make contact with Young People from varying backgrounds to gain an insight into their needs, issues, areas of concerns, passions and interests, in order to facilitate their stories being voiced in the wider community and enabling youth visibility, to become more prominent within Hume.
Youth Reference Group
Youth Services is calling for youth representatives for Hume's Youth Reference Group (YRG). YRG is for young people aged 15 - 24 years of age who want to be a part of Council's planning for the community. The group will give young people living, working or going to school in Hume City the opportunity to have a role in ensuring that events, programs and projects organised by Youth Services are relevant to them. Youth Reference Group (YRG) - Help us improve Youth Services!
YRG will give the opportunity for the youth of Hume the opportunity to network with other young people and to participate in focus groups, evaluations or surveys which helps make a positive impact in the Hume community. YRG representatives will be given the opportunity to consult with other Council departments and community agencies that are addressing youth issues.
