Sustainability Taskforce

The Hume Sustainability Taskforce is a direct link for Council to the community for consultation, feedback and action on environmental sustainability strategies and actions.

If you have an interest in the environment and are keen to get involved in assisting us to improve our environmental activities and planning, then we want to hear from you.

We are seeking representatives from the Hume community, environment groups, the rural sector, business and industry, developers, the education sector and social support / health and wellbeing sectors. A broad representation of Hume’s diverse community, geographical areas and a range of environmental interests will be sought.

The Taskforce meets on a quarterly basis, currently on the second Tuesday evening of February, May, August and November. These are voluntary positions. For more information please see the Sustainability Taskforce Terms of Reference below.
