Garbage Collection
Council provides a weekly collection of household waste to all residential properties.
Residents have the choice of an 80L or 140L bin for garbage. You will receive a $15 refund on your rates if you choose to have an 80L garbage bin.
As of 1 July 2012 Council will be updating the colour of our garbage bins. New garbage bins will now be dark green with a red lid, older bins will be light green with a light green lid.
Waste Services Calendar
Council’s waste services calendar helps to remind you when to put your recycling bin out and what other waste services Council provides. Council’s waste collections are divided in to two collection areas for the fortnightly recycling collection. To find out which area you live in and which calendar you need to follow please refer to the map below or contact Council on 9205 2200 for assistance with which recycling area you live in.
