Performing Arts Program
The Hume Performing Arts Program teaches children and adults various forms of dance and drama and encourages them to express themselves. The Program is suitable for males and females of all ages and abilities. It has been developed to help students with self-esteem, confidence and coordination.
Dance Classes
For a low cost, you can learn a variety of dance genres. Hume Performing Arts teachers are fully qualified and carefully selected to ensure each class is enjoyable and interactive. With over 400 students participating each year, it's a great way to meet new friends and learn some new dance routines.
Classes are held across Hume at Craigieburn, Gladstone Park, Roxburgh Park, Sunbury and Broadmeadows. Performing Arts Program students perform at an end of year concert. For more information on times and locations download our

Hip Hop / Jazz
Classes are based on learning different styles of dance to the latest music releases.
Hip Hop / Break Dance
Street dance has taken the world by storm, allowing boys and girls to express themselves in Hip Hop & Break-dance. The instructor puts together creative street styles for all to enjoy.
Tap Dancing
Tap Dancing is a style of its own. Not only do you learn to tap dance, but learning rhythm and beat enhances your coordination.
Ballet/Theatrical
Ballet is taught to those who would like to learn classical techniques and want to perform to slower and contemporary styles of music.
Cheerleading
Cheerleading is a physical activity, based on organized routines, which include the components of tumbling, dance, jumps, cheers, and stunting; a great new program for all to enjoy.
Hip Hop For All
A fun class that includes stretching, cardio, jazz technique & hip hop routines led by an instructor familiar with people with special needs. This class is ideal for people with a disability who want to meet others who also love dancing, having fun and learning funky moves while dancing to the latest music.
Toe Tap / Ballet For All
A fun class that includes Tap Dance & Ballet routines led by an instructor familiar with people with special needs. This class is ideal for people with a disability who want to meet others who also love dancing, having fun and learning Tap Dance & Ballet techniques.
