M80 Upgrade Works
Major works are taking place as part of the State and Federal Government's M80 Ring Road Upgrade. During the M80 Upgrade Works, Hume residents and visitors may experience changed road and traffic conditions.
Major traffic delays for drivers during 24 hour M80 Ring Road closure

The M80 Ring Road will be closed in both directions for 24 hours between Pascoe Vale Road and Sydney Road on Sunday 27 May from 4am.
Detours will be in place and delays of more than one hour expected. Drivers are advised to avoid the area if possible or plan their journeys in advanced and allow for extra travel time.
The following M80 Ring Road entry ramps will also be closed at various times between 8am and 9pm on Sunday 27 May to control traffic flow during the freeway closure:
- Greensborough bound – Keilor Park Drive, Calder Freeway, Airport Drive, Tullamarine Freeway
- Altona bound – Plenty Road, Dalton Road and Edgars Road
As a contingency only, the entry ramps from Hume Freeway to M80 Ring Road Altona bound and Tullamarine Freeway airport bound to M80 Ring Road Greensborough bound may also be closed.
