Success of the Craigieburn Community Renewal program sees a three-year extension!
Expressions of Interest - Join the Craigieburn Community Renewal team!
| Craigieburn Community Renewal is a three year initiative funded by the Victorian Government. It involves forming partnerships between residents, Council, non-government organisations and the State Government to work on community-driven priorities in Craigieburn.
The objectives of Community Renewal are:

 | Community participation in decision making |  | Better employment and learning opportunities |  | More volunteering and neighbourhood support |  | Improved community facilities and open space |  | Greater participation in cultural, recreational and sporting activities, and |  | Increased feelings of safety and wellbeing |

| A Local Action Plan has been developed by people living in Craigieburn to guide the progress of Community Renewal. It contains the priorities of the community, as well as actions to achieve those priorities.
The Craigieburn Community Renewal Local Action Plan was launched on Tuesday September 30 by the State Government member for Yuroke Liz Beattie MP.

| Success of the Craigieburn Community Renewal program sees a three-year extension! | | In recognition of the Craigieburn Community Renewal Program’s achievements thus far the State Government has recently announced an extension of funding for an additional three years! This extension will support the implementation of thirty actions contained in the Community Renewal Local Action Plan developed by the community-led steering committee.

| Expressions of Interest - Join the Craigieburn Community Renewal team! | | Would you like to meet new people and work together to improve the Craigieburn community?
We are looking for two new members to join our Steering Committee. The committee meets once a month on a Tuesday evening, and is responsible for overseeing the Craigieburn Community Renewal Local Action Plan. Members also have the opportunity to work in small groups on actions ranging from education, image, infrastructure, access and mobility and wellbeing.
