Broadmeadows Street Festival Grants


Applications for 2019 Broadmeadows Street Festival Grants have now closed.

General information about the grants:

Broadmeadows Street Festival is one of Hume City Council’s major events and will be held in Tanderrum Way, Broadmeadows on Sunday 7 April 2019, from 1pm to 7pm.

Hume community groups and individuals had the opportunity to apply for a share in $25,000 funding to showcase their talents through a range of performances and activities at the event.

The grants scheme is available to support community groups and individuals to undertake a range of activities that encourage greater participation in the event.

Grants are provided to community groups for the development, production, and showcasing of range of activities in the following categories:

  • Performance – such as song, dance, theatre, poetry
  • Art – such as short film, photographic display and light projection display
  • Food – such as cooking demonstrations (subject to meeting food handling requirements)
  • Displays – costumes, handicrafts; and
  • Other activities considered to be of benefit the event.

Applications for 2020 grants will open in late 2019.
