Defibrillator Grant

OPENS 15 MAY 2019 - FUNDS AVAILABLE UP TO $2,500

The Defibrillator Grants are one-off grants designed to support community organisations and community groups to purchase defibrillators that may assist in saving the life of an individual during cardiac arrest.

Eligibility

Applicants must: 

  • Demonstrate a need for access to a defibrillator in the delivery of their activities
  • Propose a location for a defibrillator where the group meets at least fortnightly
  • Demonstrate that there is no access to a defibrillator within the vicinity of where the group meets regularly.
  • Be a not-for-profit community group or organisation.
  • Propose a location with Hume City.
  • Have no outstanding debts with Hume City Council.
  • Have satisfactorily acquitted previous funding received from Hume City Council.
  • Be incorporated or be a first-time applicant (applicants that are not incorporated must be auspiced by an incorporated not-for profit organisation and provide evidence of this arrangement) 

*Applications for this category are accepted throughout the year until funds are exhausted
