Hume events season stallholder applications now open!

Whether its food, clothes, crafts or even information you wish to spread, come showcase your wares to audiences of up to 20,000 people at a Hume City Council major event in 2017/18!

Hume Mayor, Councillor Drew Jessop said stallholder applications for Council’s 2017/18 major events season were now open and encouraged local organisations and businesses to apply.

“From food trucks to crafts and fundraising stalls, Council needs a variety of stallholders to
ensure our festivals are colourful, diverse and attractive to locals and visitors coming to Hume,” Councillor Jessop said.

“Stallholders can apply to take part in Council’s Carols By Candlelight 2017 event, Christmas in the Plaza 2017, Craigieburn Festival 2018 and the Broadmeadows Street Festival 2018.
“Your organisation will benefit from showcasing your products and services to audiences of up to 20,000 people at these festivals.
“Along with exposure to large audiences, stallholders will also be supported with assistance in obtaining permits, promotion of your group through communications about the event and support in sourcing equipment.
“There’s also the fantastic opportunity to connect and network with other local community and business organisations taking part in the festivals.
Attend a stallholder information session on 30 August to find out more. Sessions will be held at 2pm at Broadmeadows Community Hub and 6pm at Broadmeadows Global Learning Centre. To register your interest, email
