Nominate now to help us thank our community legends on Australia Day

Mayor of Hume City, Councillor Carly Moore said Hume City is a great place to live and one of the reasons for this is the sense of community and the number of people willing to step up to make our community even better.

“There are so many incredible people working behind the scenes who help make our schools, clubs, fundraisers, community activities and events so successful,” Cr Moore said.

“These people do not do the work they do for the gratitude, but as a community it is important we take the time to recognise and acknowledge their dedication to the community.

“If you know a quiet achiever or devoted individual who has gone above and beyond in our community, nominations are now open for the 2020 Hume City Council Australia Day Awards.

“Council has a proud tradition of recognising outstanding contributions made to the Hume community through the presentation of the Australia Day Awards and we look forward to receiving your nominations, sharing how local people have made a big difference.”
