Reach new heights! Hume’s Community Grants Applications Now Open

Mayor of Hume City, Councillor Carly Moore, challenged community groups, sporting clubs and not-for-profits to think big, consider partnerships, collaborations and innovative projects ahead of submitting applications for Hume’s Community Grants Program 2020.

“Council is dedicated to helping our community thrive and the Community Grants Program is a wonderful opportunity for people across Hume to seek funding that will help start new projects, expand programs or purchase equipment to meet the needs of our local community,” Cr Moore said.

“So many people and organisations work tirelessly to help make our community a vibrant, engaging and pleasant place to live and a financial boost through grant funding can help make a big difference to what can be achieved.

“There are a number of grants on offer and I encourage everyone to think about the year ahead and consider which category or categories would best serve their needs prior to submitting their applications.

“Each year Council supports many exciting, innovative and important community initiatives and this is your opportunity to benefit from the Community Grants Program 2020.”

Applications for the Community Grants Program 2020 are open until 4pm Wednesday 19 June 2019. Please note Council also offers a select number of grant categories year-round.
