We have the key to unlock two weeks of youth adventure!

Hume City Council has launched a huge program of youth-focussed activities and events ahead of the April school holidays and Victorian Youth Week 2019.

Mayor of Hume City, Councillor Carly Moore expressed her excitement to share such an extensive program of events that recognise and celebrate young people in our community.

“This school holidays our Youth Adventures and Youth Week activities combine to give young residents two weeks full of opportunities to make friends, share ideas, learn something new and have fun,” Cr Moore said.

“Who could possibly get bored when giant trampolines, rock climbing, virtual reality, ice skating and dance workshops are on offer?

“There are also opportunities to learn valuable life skills in a fun and friendly environment with cooking classes and potentially lifesaving CPR training available.

“Our youth activities are very popular, and places do fill quickly, I encourage everyone to check out the program and book now to take part in this exciting program.”

Throughout April, people aged between 12 and 15 can come and try any Hume City Council Leisure Centre with a 7-day Active Teens Guest Membership. At the end of the week, memberships are available from just $6.20 per week.

Other activities during the school holidays include:

  • Victoria Youth Week Launch event
  • School's out! End-of-term celebration
  • Melbourne Aquarium
  • IMAX
