Travelling with bikes on Melbourne's trains
Bikes and surfboards can be carried free of charge on metropolitan trains but are not permitted on buses and trams.

Securing your bike at Train Stations - Parkiteer
Parkiteer bike cages allow you to ride to the station and park your bike in a secure and undercover location. You can then continue your journey by public transport, with the peace of mind that your bike is safe and secure. Parkiteer cages are located at Sunbury, Craigieburn, Roxburgh Park, Coolaroo and Broadmeadows train stations.

To use a Parkiteer bike cage you need an access card. The card gives you 24 hour access and user support. Parkiteer bike cages are free to use. There is a $50 refundable security deposit for the access card that will be refunded to you in full if you decide to discontinue using Parkiteer bike cages. For more information download the Secure Bike Parking flyer here: Secure Bike Parking Flyer.pdf or visit the Bicycle Network Victoria website.

Bike Lockers
Bike lockers are available at selected Metro and V/Line stations and can be rented free after paying a bond.
