Hume Community Jobs and Skills Working Group
Established in October 2022, the Hume Community Jobs and Skills Working Group was formed to gain insights into the challenges faced by unemployed residents and to create opportunity for community participation and inclusion for collective decision making.
The group consists of individuals from diverse cohorts with lived experience of unemployment who inform the Hume Jobs and Skills Taskforce to:
We are currently accepting Expressions of Interest (EOI) from members of the community who are from the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community, culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds (CALD), young people, women, mature aged (55+), social housing residents, persons with a disability and people living in the postcodes of 3047, 3048, 3061 and 3064.

We are seeking applications from individuals who meet the following criteria:
- Currently unemployed and actively seeking employment
- Reside in the postcodes of 3047, 3048, 3061 and 3064

All applications will be assessed according to the above essential criteria. Applications will be assessed by Officers from the Local Employment Partnership Team.
