Warm water pool

Hume City Council is committed to creating a city that supports the health and wellbeing of residents.

That’s why we built the new warm water pool at Sunbury Aquatic and Leisure Centre.

This 12m x 15m warm water pool is ideal for aquatic programs, classes and treatments, including exercise and rehabilitation.
The pool can help to relieve muscle aches and pain, assist in rehabilitation, increase blood flow to the joints and improve flexibility.
Warm water sessions are also ideal for people suffering from an injury or those with a disability.

Pool information:

  • Available for gentle exercise and relaxation (lap swimming and diving is not permitted)
  • Average temperature: 34 degrees Celsius
  • Maximum depth: 1.4 metres.
  • The walk-in spa is located within the same body of water as the pool (no additional cost to use).
  • The wellness spa is located to the side of the pool (additional cost, spa bands must be purchased from reception)
  • You need to be 15 years or over to use this pool, unless undertaking an approved centre program or you have a disability that requires ramp access.
  • At times, sections of the pool will often be used for a range of aquatic programs, and public access may be limited.
  • Ramp access is available including the use of an aquatic wheelchair.
