Tax Help 2017

Free Tax Help available to Hume residents

If you need to lodge a tax return and earned less than $60,000 in the last financial year, you may be eligible for the free Tax Help service.

The appointment based service will run until 31 October 2017.

There are seven volunteers engaged in this year’s Tax Help service to help people in the community complete their tax return and other basic tax enquiries. This is the ninth year that Council’s Hume Volunteer Gateway program has supported Tax Help.

Tax Help is run by the Australian Taxation Office, in partnership with Council’s Hume Volunteer Gateway.

Tax Help will be offered at:

  • Broadmeadows (Hume Council office)
    1079 Pascoe Vale Road, Broadmeadows 
  • Craigieburn (Hume Global Learning Centre - Craigieburn)
    75-95 Central Park Avenue, Craigieburn
