Greenvale West Community Centre will be opening soon!

Construction of the $8 million community centre started in April 2019 and the new facility is set to open to the community in the second half of 2020.

Located on the corner of Blossom Drive and Ventura Way, the Greenvale West Community Centre will support a broad range of community services and interests through a variety of spaces including:

  • 3 preschool rooms, creating an additional 198 preschool places
  • 2 Maternal and Child Health (MCH) rooms
  • 2 specialist consulting rooms, for specialist services including early intervention, early years/family services and other visiting specialist services
  • 2 multipurpose activity rooms for meetings, social and community gatherings, playgroups etc  
  • 1 training/meeting room
  • kitchen
  • reception area
  • 46 on site car parking spaces - including 2 accessible (disabled) car parking spaces

The new community centre will make a significant contribution to the development of a larger community activity precinct in Greenvale West. The precinct will also include parkland, recreational areas and Greenvale North West Primary School (interim name, the school is scheduled to open in 2021).
