About Homestead Community and Learning Centre

All events at Hume City Council’s Community Centres of more than 100 people have been cancelled until further notice. The Community Centres will remain open with continual review based on the latest coronavirus advice from the Federal and State Government.

The Homestead Community and Learning Centre in Roxburgh Park is a friendly place to learn new skills, pursue other interests, share cultures and meet with friends. It offers a range of education, arts and cultural programs based on the current needs and interests of the local community.

At the Homestead, lifelong learning is encouraged. Pathway programs for work or study with an emphasis on individual, community, cultural and religious diversity are provided.

On average almost 12,000 people utilise the Homestead every year. It offers local residents an informal setting to come together to share their diverse skills and cultural backgrounds with the wider community in a supportive and caring environment.
