Children's dose
Children aged between 5 and 11 years are now eligible for vaccination against COVID-19
They will receive a smaller dose of vaccine created specifically for their age group.
By vaccinating your children, you can:
- Reduce the spread of the COVID-19
- Protect them from getting sick from COVID-19
- Keep schools open, so kids can have more face-to-face learning and playtime with their friends.
The Australian Technical Advisory Group recommends the Pfizer vaccine for children in this age group.
It is recommended that children receive two doses, 8 weeks apart.
