Making a booking

Step 1.Access VaxApp, our online immunisation platform

Book an appointment online

Step 2.Check availability

Select by date or by venue. You can view our immunisation timetable above.

Step 3.Sign in or register your account

The first time you use VaxApp you are required to register an account using an email address.  A Verification code will be sent to your email to complete the set up. 

Step 4.Setup your profile

Your personal profile needs to be be completed before setting up the profile for any dependents.

Select 'Receiving a vaccine' if the vaccination is for yourself or 'Giving consent for someone else to receive a vaccine' for a dependent. Enter your personal details and 'Save'.

Add your dependent details, select 'Save & Continue' or 'Save & Add New' to add additional dependents.

Step 5.Book an appointment

Select who you are booking an appointment for if required as well as any medical conditions relevant.

Select the immunisation you are booking in for (For example: 4 months, 12 months etc). You can select additional immunisations as part of the step.

Step 6.Confirm consent

Please ensure you read the Immunisation scedule, pre-immunisation infromation and side effect fact sheet prior to confirming you consent. 

Step 7.Book an appointment

Book a venue, date and time that is suitable.

You will receive an email confirmation of your appointment which allows you to manage any changes you wish to make.

Once this profile is completed, future bookings are made simply by logging onto your personal profile. 

Privacy statement

The information you provide in registering consent for immunisation, is for the sole purpose of monitoring vaccination programs by the State and Australian Governments. Local councils electronically report all vaccines given through council vaccination programs, to the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) as required under the Australian Immunisation Register Act 2021. The information you provide will be handled in accordance with the Victorian Privacy and Data Protection Act 2014 and the Health Records Act 2001.

Information related to you will be used or disclosed for purposes directly related to your vaccination, and in ways that you would reasonably expect. This may include the transfer or exchange of the information collected, including your vaccination status, to your GP, to another treating health service, hospital or another local council.

You may access your information by request to Council by contacting immunisation@hume.vic.gov.au.  If you wish to access information about your vaccination history, you may do so from the AIR which can be viewed on your MyGov account. 

If you do not provide your information as required, Council may refuse to provide you with vaccination services. 

  • If your child is overdue or you are unsure of what vaccines they require, please contact us on 9356 6745
  • All those immunised are expected to wait close to the venue for 15 minutes post immunisation. Please ensure you take this into account when making your immunisation appointment.
