Furniture

Tables and chairs are provided for each bookable space. They are kept in the store room, and can be set up to suit your requirements, whether you are hosting a meeting, class or function.

The trestle tables are rectangular in shape, and are 1.82m x 0.74m in size. For exact quantities please contact the bookings team.

Kitchen

This facility has a full commercial kitchen with the following features:
- Gas oven and cooktop
- Wall mounted urn
- Deep fryer
- Single door fridge/freezer
- Walk in fridge (available on request)
- Stainless steel benchtops
- Split system heating and cooling
- Loading bay access

Heating/Cooling

Centrally controlled heating and cooling is available in both the Functions room and Activities Hall.
The kitchen has its own split system heating and cooling.

The Roxburgh Park Recreation Centre has ample off street parking that is shared with the sporting ground and youth centre, There is more than 130 spaces available with 3 accessible car parking spaces. 

Yes, this venue is fully accessibility friendly. 

Yes, you can absolutely have a band or DJ play at your event. You are also welcome to entertain your guests by setting up your own speakers and playing your favourite playlist. 

However, please be mindful that this facility is located in a residential area and amplified music is therefore not permitted.

The Roxburgh Park Recreation Centre is a blank canvas that you can make your own by decorating the facility to suit your event or theme.

Permitted decorations include anything that is not fixed to the walls and will not damage the facility including: table decorations such as weighted balloon displays, flower arrangements, and any other items that can be affixed using non-marking adhesive such as blue tac.

Smoke machines, confetti cannons, candles, un-weighted helium balloons, and flammable materials such as hay bales are not permitted.

Absolutely - the Roxburgh Park Recreation Centre is the perfect place to have a jumping castle or animal farm. Each of the rooms opens out into a semi-private outdoor area with ample shade.
