School of Plastic Fish by The Colourful Collective

School of plastic fish exhibition 6

This exhibition looks at the global problem of plastic pollution and how art can raise awareness and provoke change. The project encourages positive conversations and activities around the problem of plastic waste in the world today. An exciting online platform offers educational resources and creative workshops to local schools and community members of all ages.

Melbourne’s Colourful Collective is a social and environmental enterprise, co-founded by Sophie Dahm and Alex Child, dedicated to sustainable and creative design by re-purposing and up-cycling plastic waste. Through diverting plastic waste from the natural environment, they aim to educate and create awareness around the dangers of single-use plastics and a throw-away consumer society.
