An exciting partnership creates further inclusive employment opportunities in Hume.
 
Brite Institute (Brite) and Hume City Council have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), which will create greater inclusive employment opportunities over the next three years.
 
Brite Institute CEO, Robert Hannaford, and CEO of Hume City Council, Sheena Frost attended a signing ceremony to finalise the agreement on Thursday 16 June, which will provide job seekers, especially those living with a disability, access to training and skills development opportunities within the municipality.  
 
The MoU ensures that people with disabilities will be supported into employment through the provision of Disability Pathway Programs and services.  
 
The Hume Multiversity program has been in operation for a decade and partners with leading training institutions and industry bodies to improve employment prospects for Hume residents.  
 
Brite is a social enterprise providing training and employment for people living with a disability. Brite has proudly operated in Broadmeadows for over 40 years and employs over 150 people with a disability.
