Hume City Council Mayor, Councillor Carly Moore said:

“Hume City is proud to be home to a number of attractions, cafes, wineries and historic places, as well as Victoria’s primary gateway for travel, tourism and freight – Melbourne Airport.

“We are so pleased that Melbourne Airport, Living Legends and URBNSURF were recognised at this year’s Victorian Tourism Awards.

“Hume’s visitor economy has an important role to play in supporting local tourism and enhancing liveability.

“Council is proud to support the visitor economy through a number of initiatives, particularly as we continue to navigate and recover from the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Initiatives include our 2020 Quick Response Support Grant during the first year of the pandemic, which allowed Living Legends to create a suite of virtual content and move into the virtual space.”
