These changes have been introduced to safely and slowly ease restrictions in metropolitan Melbourne. The Second Step allows additional Council services to reopen, including:

From 11:59pm Sunday 18 October:

  • Skateparks will reopen
  • Some non-contact outdoor sports environments can reopen, including tennis courts, golf courses and lawn bowls. We are working through the process for reactivating these facilities, guided by Victorian Government regulations and specific State Sports Associations' direction.

Additional changes to the distance you can travel from home, shopping limits, schools, outdoor gatherings and religious gatherings can be found on the DHHS website.

When you leave home, you must use a face mask, unless you have a lawful reason for not doing so.

We all need to continue to play our part to help slow the spread of COVID-19.
