Universal Children's Day


Children's Week (21 - 29 October) is a national program recognising the talents, skills, achievements and rights of young people. This is the time when local councils, organisations, schools and early childhood services organise a range of open days, displays and special events that celebrate childhood.

Hume City Council will be celebrating this special time of year on Wednesday, 25 October at a Universal Children's Day event held in Broadmeadows. 
A variety of local early years services providers along with Hume City Council will come together to celebrate children and families. There will be:

  • animal farm
  • art and craft activities
  • games
  • storytelling sessions
  • and lots more

Lunch will be provided.
