This year’s theme is Get into it which encourages older Victorians, irrespective of experience or mobility, to learn new skills, make new friends and take part in fun-filled activities. With more than 45 events in Hume City and 2,500+ events across the state, there's plenty to see, experience and do. Discover a range of entertainment options, tours, workshops and experiences.

Download the full program here or check out all of Council's upcoming events.

Eight days of free public transport

Free public transport will be available for Senior Card holders, from Sunday 6 to Sunday 13 October across all public transport systems including V/Line trains.

Remember to always carry your Seniors myki and Victorian Seniors Card with you on public transport, and be sure to touch on and off as usual (you won't be charged). On regional services that don't use myki, just show your Victorian Seniors Card to the conductor or bus driver.

Special offer from Hume City Council's Leisure Centres.

Not only can you enjoy heaps of free events at Council's Leisure Centres throughout Victorian Seniors Month (see page 6 and 7), but if you choose to become an ongoing member, we'll waive the $52.30 joining fee if you join between 21-27 October. Concession membership prices start from $15.10 per fortnight.
