Animal Registrations

Is your animal registration up-to-date?

It is important for owners to register their pets with Council. In fact. by Law all cats and dogs aged three months and older must be registered with Council.

Did you know? Pets that are registered and microchipped are more likely to be reunited with their owner should they become lost or missing.

Animal Registration Renewals are due by 10 April.

Animal registrations need to be renewed by 10 April each year. Council will send registered pet owners an animal registration renewal notice in March.

When you receive your animal registration renewal notice, please check all the details are correct. It is extremely important that your details are up to date so that your pet is returned home in the event that it becomes lost.

The pet is no longer mine

If your pet is deceased, lost, no longer owned by you or you have moved please update your pets record: www.hume.vic.gov.au/updatepetdetails
