The annual Hume Seniors Festival - to be held on Friday 27 October at the Lynda Blundell Senior Citizen Centre - is a wonderful way for Council and the community to celebrate the valuable contribution our senior citizens make to Hume every day.

The highlights of this year's festival include entertainment for all ages and performances by the Horizon Singers, Star African drummers, Mt Ridley College and also traditional Greek dances.

Hosted by Hume City Council, visitors will learn all about the many services and programs available to senior residents in Hume and will be encouraged to participate in local opportunities and try new activities such as a smoothie bike, walking basketball, walking soccer, mini golf, Bocce, arts and crafts, free health and hearing checks and more.
