Learn how you can build positive relationships with children and young people in practical workshops designed for parents/carers of 0 – 24 year olds.

All sessions are free to attend, but bookings are essential.

Term 4 Program

Parents Building Solutions

A six-week program aimed at parents and carers of children and young people brought to you by Parentzone Northern and Hume City Council. Join us in an interactive program to share experiences and ideas, and learn strategies to support your child.
When: 6.30pm Tuesdays (15, 22, 29 October, 12, 19, 26 November)

Tuning into Teens
A six-week program that teaches parents how to help teens develop emotional intelligence - a key skill that can help them better cope with their emotions, become more aware and assertive, and have more stable and satisfying relationships as adults.
When: 6pm - 8pm Thursdays (17, 24, 31 October, 7, 14, 21 November)

Creating a safer online environment
This one-hour session will provide parents/carers with the tools to create a safer online environment for young people in their care.
When: 6.30pm - 7.30pm, Monday 21 October
