Do you want to:

  • Meet new people?
  • Make a positive difference in your community?
  • Improve your health and wellbeing?
  • Receive free training?

If your answer is "yes!", read on...

What is an Enviro Champion?

Enviro Champions are Hume residents who work together to help make Hume a better place to live. You do not have to have a specific project in mind to join the Enviro Champions, but if you care about your community, want to help the environment and make friends, then Enviro Champions is for you!

What impact can I have on the community?

There have been a variety of people come through the program who have initiated a range of exciting projects that benefit our local communities and the environment
Some of these include:

  • Exford Edibles Community Garden
  • Grooving Up The Grasslands
  • To Bee Or Not To Bee - Creating A Bee Hotel
  • See these and more of the projects here

Do I need to have my own environment-related project?

You don't need to have a project in mind to get involved with Enviro Champions. The training includes support to develop an idea and project plan of your own, or you can work as part of a team with other people working on a shared project.
