This school holidays come to our kids vegie growing workshop to learn all about raising good quality vegies. Growing vegies is fun for kids, cheap and good for you! Learn all about soil health and which vegies to grow this Spring. Suitable for ages 4 - 11 years.

 
 

Spring open day - Sunbury Community Garden

Drop in to Sunbury Community Garden and meet passionate local gardeners for free workshops, sausage sizzle, plant give aways and Enviro Champions stalls. The Sunbury Community Garden is home to a fabulous orchard of 50 fruit trees and the site has over 300 indigenous trees and shrubs. Grow organic produce, learn new skills and share knowledge. New gardeners and kids always welcome.

Recycling week discovery bus tour

Meet out the front of Broadmeadows Town Hall, 1089 Pascoe vale Road, Broadmeadows.

This week is National Recycling Week. Learn more about the processes of how waste and recycling are managed on a bus tour to the Bolinda Road Resource Recovery Centre and the Banyule Rethink Centre. A delicious low-waste morning tea is included. Don’t waste this opportunity!
