Pop Up Recycling Station

Council has partnered with the Northern Community Recycling Group to host free fortnightly Pop-Up Recycling Stations.

Stop by between 9am – 12pm every fortnight from Sunday 22 September at Craigieburn Sports Stadium, 127 Craigieburn Road, Craigieburn to drop off sorted and clean recyclables.

A wide range of items will be accepted. All recyclables will be transferred to a recycling service provider at no cost.

Accepted items include washed, dry and sorted:

  • Paper & Cardboard (clean and flattened)
  • Bread tags
  • Milk bottle tops and rings
  • Milk, juice and cream bottles
  • Yoghurt, ice cream and margarine containers
  • Dish washing liquid bottles (with caps) and dish washing table plastic bags and containers
  • Contact lenses, used contact lens blister packs and used content lens cases
  • Glass bottles and jars (excludes drinking glasses or decorative glasses)
  • Metal cans, aluminium cans and bottle tops, tins and foil
  • Toothbrushes, toothpaste tubes and caps (squeeze out as much toothpaste as possible - does not have to be washed) and floss containers
  • Pens, felt tip pens, mechanical pencils, highlighters, corrective tape, corrective fluid bottles (empty and dry).
