BOLD VISIONS: NAIDOC Week Posters 1972 - 2019

In celebration of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, this exhibition showcases the powerful messaging of NAIDOC week posters from 1972 to the present. Drawing on a rich archive of designs spanning the many themes explored across 47 years, they offer an opportunity to reflect on how images and language change and contribute to the ongoing dialogue encompassing Voice, Treaty and Truth we are having in 2019.

Opening Reception

When: Monday 8 July, 1.30 - 3pm
Where: Hume Global Learning Centre - Broadmeadows, Gallery Area - 1093 Pascoe Vale Road, Broadmeadows 
Guest Speaker: Charles Pakana the Treaty Correspondent from Radio 3KND will talk about this year’s NAIDOC theme of Vice, Treaty, Truth in the context of the current Treaty process.
