Drawn and Quartered

Hume artist Chester Vega exhibits a selection of recent works.

Vega's delicate and detailed graphite drawings on canvas plumb the deeper and darker corners of our emotional worlds. He explores a symbolic and gestural language of the body that speaks of vulnerability, solitude and simple joy. Chester leaves these works untitled, in order to not influence the interpretation of the viewer.

Trained in painting at the University of Phillipines, Manila, Chester Vega now lives and works in Craigieburn.
