Elders on the Move Exhibition

510x260_Reconciliation.jpg

Exhibition runs: 25 May - 10 June 2018

This is a shared exhibition of painting and sculpture by members of the Elders on the Move Planned Activity Group. The works depict the traditional practices a small group of local Aboriginal artists who meet each week at the Lynda Blundell Community Centre in Dallas.

Representing both solo and shared works, the exhibition demonstrates the strength of connection the artists maintain to their culture.

The exhibition coincides with Reconciliation Week, a nation-wide program of events and celebrations for Australians to learn more about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and histories, to share that knowledge, and help us grow as a nation.
