Fossa danube for web.jpg

'Fossa' is a new exhibition by Hume artist Natasha Dusenjko.

The exhibition is the artist's response to a recent trip to her ancestral village of Dalj, situated on the banks of the Danube River in Croatia.

Working across a number or artistic disciplines, Dusenjko explores themes of identity, geography and displacement through sculpture, installation, video, photography and drawing. Inspired by the way archaeological artifacts and fragments are collected and displayed in museums, the artist has compiled a personal museum of intriguing images and objects that represent elements of her own history and mythology.

Natasha Dusenjko is a 2014 Hume Arts Award recipient.
