Curated by Santy Saptari

'Emerge' is Multicultural Arts Victoria’s Community Cultural Development program driven by the aspirations of artists and communities from culturally diverse, refugee and Aboriginal backgrounds living in outer metro and regional Victoria.

Now in its third year, the Emerge in the North Art Exhibition is proudly hosted by Hume in celebration of the immense pool of talent from the culturally diverse communities that reside in Melbourne’s outer north. Meeting Point acknowledges the recurring ideas in many of the artists’ works to date, enabling them to connect creatively and to share their work with the Hume Community. One of the exhibiting artists will be awarded the opportunity to develop and exhibit their work through a solo exhibition at the Gee-Lee Wik Doleen Gallery in Craigieburn over December-January.
