We Are All In It Together

Make a Day in Hume is an inclusive group of young adults living in Hume, plus expert carers and supporters, brought together by a passion for art and creative collaboration, regardless of ability and labels.

We Are All In It Together presents a body of work that draws on the group’s experiences together and individually. Exhibits will include participant visual diaries, hand-made books, photos, colourful ‘decorated’ shapes and surfaces, installations and film. The artworks will document the journey of this dynamic group in Hume over a 12 month period.

This project is developed by Sheena Mathieson - Melbourne based artist and facilitator of Make a Day in Hume, and  Louise D’Amico - Hume resident, participant of Make a Day in Hume since 2015 and recipient of a 2016 Hume Arts Award.

The exhibition opens in the wake of International Day of People with Disability 2017.
