Congratulations to the 15 winners of Hume City Council’s 2018 Arts Awards.

Established in 2012, the Hume Arts Awards are an important program run by Hume City Council, giving artists, both emerging and established, the opportunity to be recognised for their talent and achievements.
 
in 2018, 53 applications across varied disciplines including drawing, writing, painting, music, multi-media, sculpture, photography and film. The total prize pool was $20,000 and the winners were chosen from three different age categories, which were ‘youth 12-18 years’, ’19-30 years’ and ’over 30 years’.

  • Steven Mansoor - Music
  • Emanuele Mamo - Music
  • James Milenkovic - Poetry

 

ARTIST OVER 30 YEARS IN ANY ARTFORM

  • Kay Abude - Multidisciplinary
  • Angela Davis - Music
  • Yelena Ashlapova - Painting / Music
  • Paul Kalemba - Painting / Photography
  • Shay Downer - Drawing
  • Caleb McKenney - Film





Applications for 2020 Hume Arts Awards will open in 2020.
