Sunbury Agricultural Show

This year marks its 97th year and will be held on Saturday 14 October 2017 at the Sunbury Recreation Reserve, Riddell Road. Every year the Sunbury Agricultural Show attracts around 15,000 people who enjoy carnival rides, community displays, kids activities, and horse parades. Sunbury Street Life

This family-friendly event will be held on Sunday 19 November 2017, 10am - 3pm. The event brings Sunbury’s O’Shanassy and Brook Streets to life with live entertainment, kid’s activities and community displays. This event helps grow, acknowledge and support local businesses.

This event is one of the newest on the Sunbury event calendar, having kicked off just four years ago. It has already won the hearts of many, receiving the 2014 Australia Day Award for 'The Best Community Event' in 2013. The event is free and is presented by HomeGrown Promotions Inc. Christmas on the Green

Held on Saturday 9 December 2017 from 5pm - 8.30pm, this free Christmas carols event attracts many families at the Sunbury Village Green. The night will be full of performances and children’s activities keeping families well-entertained and bringing alive the spirit of Christmas. This event is free and presented by the Sunbury Lay Ecumenical Committee.




This free festival has been held for more than 40 years and in 2018 will be held on 17 and 18 March at the Sunbury Village Green. The festival program will be jam-packed full of live entertainment, kid’s activities, carnival rides, food trucks, fireworks and more.
This event was the winner of the Hume Community Event of the year at the 2016 Australia Day Awards. It is an event that delivers colour, excitement and pride to not only Sunbury residents but to all who live in Hume City. This festival is free and organised by volunteers.
