The three hour active bystander training session supports participants to speak up when confronted with everyday sexism and sexual harassment as well as a range of behaviors and attitudes that excuse violence and abuse.

What is an active bystander?
An active bystander can be a friend, family member, colleague or stranger. Being an active bystander sends a message that violence and abuse is everyone’s business and that everyone has a positive role to play in eliminating it.

What will this training do for you?

  • Provides you with practical tools to be an active bystander

The active bystander tools can be used to challenge any form of discrimination, harassment, or bullying. The tools are designed to reinforce healthy, respectful behaviors and focuses on what people in the workplace, communities and families can do to make a difference.
