Celebrate the rich diversity and culture of our community at our Refugee Week Cohesion Festival.

Join us for a day of food, performances and activities ranging from face painting, to drumming, choirs, cultural performances, and hip hop. It will also be a wonderful opportunity for people to connect with service providers in the area. 

It is going to be a packed program of performances, activities and fun – lots of great things to do and see and get involved in.

10:00am - Welcome To Country and Smoking Ceremony

10.30am - Turkish Classical Choir

11am - Spring Dreams Dancing Group

11.20am - Ashur Folkloric Dance Group (Traditional Assyrian Dance)

11.50am - Steven Jalil (Iraqi and Assyrian traditional music)

12.30pm - Choir for Humanity 

1.00pm - True Culture (Digeridoo and dance performance)

1.30pm - Omar Pervaiz (World music and drum circle)

2.05pm - ROR (Hip hop/ rapper performance)

2.55pm - Adeeb Al Iraqi (Traditional Arabic songs)

3.30pm - Joseph Samarani (Percussion performance) 

4pm - Melinday Gbiadiah and Milad Norouzi
